We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage the daily operations of our warehouse in our central Auckland HQ location. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth processing and management of inwards and outwards goods to all customers and our own retail stores throughout New Zealand. The ideal candidate would be passionate about ensuring warehouse processes are maintained and continuously improved to ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency is achieved in all the warehouse workflows.

What you will do:

  • Management of storage to ensure physical stock is in the right place, in the right order and available to pick and pack in the most efficient order possible
  • Physical management of inwards goods; including count in's, quality control
  • Physical management of wholesale and online orders; including picking and dispatching and processing returns/exchanges
  • Physical management of internal retail store orders; picking, checking and dispatching orders to all outlets
  • Collaboration with the Operations Manager and Demand Planner on Inventory Management including stock takes, stock location system transfers and logistics management to ensure physical stock is in the right place
  • Facilitating the day to day running of the warehouse including courier deliveries and pick-ups for all inbound and outbound stock movements
  • Providing Returns Authorities and processing the same for inbound returns consignments. Collaborating with Accounts and/or Customer Service for refunds to online customers
  • Support all ilabb retail stores including; stock replenishment, merchandising, and customer service & sales to support the retail teams
  • Manage casual staff resource to assist with inwards goods/dispatch processing

 Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years plus in warehouse role at Manager or 2IC level or similar role
  • Experience in warehouse operations for the apparel industry
  • Be physically fit, this is a job where you will need to move!
  • Have a high attention to detail, the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self motivated and have the initiative to problem solve and take action
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in inventory management, POS and ecommerce systems - Cin7 and Shopify preferred
  • Desire to further upskill in warehouse management of staff including rosters, training and development
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
